History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is greedy

His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Heian lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
