History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Herleva was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Scribe. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to prove her worth to the world
