History: Shadow lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Beggar.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a deep hatred of orcs
