History: Thervan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 6'0" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. She keeps her long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her small white hat.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Stableman business.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to end her boredom

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Herleva embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. A true patriot, Herleva would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. His fur is cut close to his head. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
