History: She was born in a small island village. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Merla grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
