History: Barakas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Faran was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Arnold's homeland. Arnold decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
