History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to end his boredom

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Glassblower and was forced into it by his family; and he's in love

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult.
