He prefers to carry a trident, but if one is not available he will default to his sword, and a wedding ring on his left hand. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: Nella lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Fargas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Fargas was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Merchant. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
