Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is wearing a long, grey cloak. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Jarana enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Quarethon wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Cleric, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Quarethon hails from a village terrorized by giants. Quarethon was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Farmer. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Quarethon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
