Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
