History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Born in the west to a Mayor, Mara learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Mara took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Meriele is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Meriele hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A freak accident while working with her Shipwright mother left her crippled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.
