Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veloptima grew up listening to her father's many stories. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is a great chef.

History: Gardain was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He became a Beggar soon after.
