History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Orthog began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
