History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Farideh was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Farideh's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed.
