History: He comes from a rich western family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and balancing his hectic life and new courier responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ûshgol does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born in the south. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
