Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Elaim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Elaim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Elaim has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Barber but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Guy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she's looking for her big break

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is renowned for her bright brown dresses and hats. She has moderate length auburn hair. Her eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
