History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: She hates Gnomes with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ranala grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Gnome Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Avelina took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hammer and armor she uses now. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
