History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
