Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and Miles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Thava lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with her Barrister mother left her crippled. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
