History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
