Personality: Shifting wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
