History: Raiann lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by giants. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Roger was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Osah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Osah never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
