History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: He got into the Navigator business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
