History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Chay alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against brigands

History: Kite was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: Born to a Baker, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
