History: He comes from a rich eastern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fisher for hire.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in the south to a Doctor, Silent learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away
