History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spy for hire.

History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Qualen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
