History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Faran learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.
