History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Hatae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Recently the stress of being a Gardener has made it difficult for her to sleep.
