Personality: Xappan is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Xappan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Xappan. After months of barely getting by, Xappan managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: She got into the Jeweler business at a young age. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She struck the Jeweler job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to prove her worth to the world
