Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ahvain does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ahvain is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ahvain studied abroad. A gifted student he started as a Seamstress, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He tends to his Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She got into the Gardener business at a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Nuthra and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and doesn't want to be a carter and was forced into it by her family
