Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ahinar is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ahinar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
