Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balifra embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Balifra and her spouse have recently divorced.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Engraver arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
