History: She got into the Marshal business at a young age. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Hethress alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She struck the Marshal job and began her own company from there.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Malquis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.
