He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Helen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. The war was a terrible time for her, and Malquis does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Malquis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in a small island village. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.
