Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Hugh's homeland. Hugh decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bhevek was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Navigator and was forced into it by his family; and wants to open a new tavern

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins; and sabotage a competitor
