Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
