History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Matilda grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Matilda. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

Description: She wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. She has red hair. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Emma was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.
