History: Mordai hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Mordai and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Beatrice was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
