Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is a great chef.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Emerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Emerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Priest job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a priest and was forced into it by his family
