Personality: She is fixated on the number 37. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Guard profession.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Cask took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up warhammer and armor she uses now. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Cask never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a deep hatred of illithids
