He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has worked as a Bather like his father before him.

Personality: Dean is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Dean is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He became a Dilettante soon after.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is content

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He got into the Farmer business at a young age. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again; and he is unsatisfied with his job
