Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Dain was born the youngest of three triplets. Dain was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Dain decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Salasar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.
