Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shax. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Tailor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His childhood dream was to be a Shepherd, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to open a new tavern

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Blorg was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
