History: She was raised in a island tribe. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During her travels, Hecat and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hecat discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hecat fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Oriel studied abroad. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: This younger middle-aged man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He has wavy purple hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Skamos is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Skamos was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Skamos never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
