History: She got into the Gardener business at a young age. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Gardener for the past few years.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Cook, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Thorin's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Farmer. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and balancing his hectic life and new farmer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Left-Handed lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a deep hatred of drow
