She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Carrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
