History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. One day when Birel was young, her mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her mother dropped to the ground dead. Her mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Birel was heart-stricken from the event, and her father started working long hours to provde for them. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born in the south. Verna abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a tattered pair of loose blue pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He has shaved his head bald. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed blue hat.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Rael took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

He carries with him a set of falchions, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are gray.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Lamlûg was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lamlûg decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
