History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Edge was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Edge grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Edge. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Raer never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
