History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

History: Born in the south to a Guard, Avice learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age her father died while driving off some brigands. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in crossbow use. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands.
