History: She is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. After coming to the age of reason, Althaea took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lucan embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
